Sobre nosotros

The non-profit and independent association Kärnten andas was founded in 2019 by communication scientist Bettina Pirker and socio-political activist Martin Diendorfer to address social problems that are underrepresented, not represented at all or misunderstood in public discourse.
Through artivism (activism + art), lectures and discussions, the organisation repeatedly draws attention to the fact that human rights are valid for all people. Its activities focus primarily on refugee and asylum, anti-fascism, feminism and the unconditional basic income (UBI).
Since 30 April 2022, together with VADA and teatro zumbayllu, they have been running VENTIL kultur raum | kulturni forum | patio cultural, the first consumption-free space for culture and civil society in the centre of Klagenfurt/Celovec.
