Daami Youth Development Organization (DYDO) is a local minorities non-governmental organization based in Hargeisa Somaliland and established in 2020 and engaged in the rehabilitation, reconstruction and development of Somaliland.

Areas of work
Social protection and rural development

Activities:
• Food,nutrition security for marginalized minority and indigenous displaced persons, FFKP, family gardens, kitchen farms, small Fishers
• Daami Youth Development Organization (DYDO) carried out the activities of the voter education campaigns, DYDO is actively conducting voter education and awareness campaigns,
• Elimination of discrimination and inequality advocacy workshop: The aim of the workshop was to discuss the protection and promotion of the rights of minorities in Somaliland and to highlight the horrible discrimination that the minority communities experience on a daily basis. Those who had participated in this workshop included: sultans, religious leaders, traditional leaders, politicians, civil society groups, political activists, social activists, women’s groups and youth. Delegates from regions (Sanaag, Togdheer, Sahil, Maroodi-Jeeh and Awdal) also attended the workshop.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
