About us
Kwikiriza Charity Foundation is a Not-for-profit Community Based Organization established on the 10th August 2020 and registered as a Community Based Organization (CBO) with the office of the City Community Development Office under Registration No. JC/060/CBO/2024 and Well known for its commitment to work with marginalized sections of the society and empower them to attain dignified quality life.
We are based in Jinja, Uganda and working in rural poor populations since 2020 providing education for children in rural areas, helping young people develop the right skills to find jobs and start their own businesses and empower women to help transform their local communities as well as meeting their socio-economic needs.
Our goal is to structurally improve and increase access to basic social and economic livelihoods of people in marginalized communities.
Mission
Kwikiriza Charity Foundation is run and led by community members for community members. We aim to empower the local community by providing resources to support them in education and life. We do this in a number of ways: We set up local businesses to generate income that we use to sustain our programmes and projects. We do this in a number of ways: Educating orphans and vulnerable children; Providing life skills training to young people; Supplying resources to enable women to work; Medical Support; Nutritional support, etc.
Vision
To see rural communities in Uganda develop using sustainable solutions that give hope and dignity to the most vulnerable.
