About us
ARAFA ISLAMIC FOUNDATION is a registered Non-Governmental Organization based in Kiluvya Madukani, Pwani District Region, Tanzania.
Our mission is to support vulnerable children and youth, with a special focus on those affected by visual impairment.
We are guided by Islamic values of compassion, charity, and community service. We are committed to transparency, accountability, and working together with partners to build a better future for our children.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life for children and families in our community through education, health support, and skills development.
Our Work
• Welfare: Education, community support, and awareness programs to help them live independently and with dignity.
• Health Outreach: We provide free health services to the elderly, pregnant women, and patients with diabetes, high blood pressure, and dialysis who cannot afford treatments.
• Education Support: We pay school fees and provide educational materials for 200+ orphans and street children in 15 schools in Mara and Rorya.
• Community Aid: We distribute food and emergency support to vulnerable families.
Dr. Mwajuma Noely Luambano is the Director of ARAFA ISLAMIC FOUNDATION.
