About us

Naari Trust is a registered non-profit organization (NGO) based in Mysore, Karnataka. We are dedicated to empowering women, improving rural and tribal education, supporting sustainable livelihoods, promoting environmental conservation, and strengthening communities through impactful development initiatives.

To ensure the empowerment of the tribal community along with keeping up our traditional cultivation.

Our vision
To enhance the quality of life of tribal community and improve their standard of living.

Our key initiatives include:
• Women’s Empowerment: We empower women through skill development, entrepreneurship support, livelihood opportunities, leadership training, financial literacy, and community engagement.
• Rural & Tribal Education: Naari Trust’s Education program focuses on improving access to safe, inclusive, and resource-enabled learning environments for children in tribal and rural communities. The program strengthens infrastructure, learning tools, and academic support systems.
• Child Development: We work with government schools and rural communities to improve learning environments, provide educational materials, promote school attendance, run awareness programs, and support holistic child development.
• Farmer Support & Sustainable Agriculture: We promote sustainable agriculture, create direct market linkages through Farmers Sante, encourage eco-friendly practices, and connect farmers directly with consumers.
• Environmental Conservation: Driving green initiatives, tree planting drives, and environmental preservation across the region.
• Community Development: Reviving local lakes and traditional water bodies to secure sustainable groundwater resources for farming communities.
• Health & Hygiene Awareness: Organizing free health check-up camps, wellness awareness, and medical support for underprivileged rural families.
• Skill Development: Our programmes include vocational training, entrepreneurship guidance, financial awareness, digital literacy, handicrafts, and other livelihood-focused initiatives.
• Youth Empowerment: Promoting traditional local sports, youth fitness, and community tournaments to foster teamwork and active lifestyles.

Muralidhara C S is the Founder Secretary of Naari Trust.
