About us

Moses Charity Organization (MCO) is a Zambia Non-Profit making organization founded in 2021 in the great city of Lusaka and registered with Ministry of Community Development and Social Welfare under The Non-Governmental Organizations Act (Act No. 16 of 2009) of the laws of Zambia.
The organization was established with the main objectives to provide a holistic transformation of young people and disadvantaged communities by offering training, empowerment and exposure to life-changing innovations.

Our vision is to restore hope among vulnerable children and communities affected by poverty, abuse, violence, disease, and natural disasters.

Our Services and Activities:
• Education: We support and encourage vulnerable children to continue with education and those currently not are encouraged to go back to school. This is done through mentorship programmes and supplying them with school materials and other needed resources.
• Health: We initiate and conducts health programmes and projects aimed at helping marginalized communities access basic medical services, we run these in form of health expo, public health awareness programmes and campaigns and adolescent sexual reproductive education, HIV, TB, E.T.C
• Agriculture: We initiate and run projects in agriculture to contribute to food basket with the aim of fighting malnutrition among the children. program will not help these vulnerable children and Communities in this regard but also show total commitment involvement in achieve Sustainable Development Goal 2 aims to achieve “Zero hunger” by 2030. It is one of the 17 sustainable development goals established by the United Nations in 2015.
• Entrepreneurship and Empowerment: We seek to create platforms that connect struggling youths and women in business loans and empowerments programmes from government and the private sector.
• Rehabilitation Programmes: We conduct counseling and rehabilitation programmes aimed promoting mental health among the youths, women and children, resulting in reduction of drug abuses, teenage pregnancies, early marriages, gender-based violence (G.B.V) and encourage re-entry policy.
• Environmental Protection: We promote environmental protection by running tree planting projects and discourage people cutting down trees which is affect our environment. Its objectives are to conserve natural resources and existing natural environment.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
