About us
The non-profit organisation Freiheitsstil has set itself the task of providing women and children with care and social support in emergency situations. Those affected are often fleeing and urgently need safe accommodation and help to come to terms with what has happened.
The organisation’s aim is to provide a safe haven where they can regain their strength, support with daily activities, and measures to help them build a future. In various areas, mothers and their children can build a new social network, receive personalised care and support, and access trauma counselling.
Clients should be given the opportunity to come to terms with experiences of physical and/or sexual violence, human trafficking, overwhelming challenges in bringing up children (or the risk of child welfare being compromised), etc., whether these currently play a role in their lives or have done so in the past.
“Freiheits-Stil” e.V. strives to provide psychosocial support through admission to the residential project, a sense of community, individual support, social counselling, the development of structured plans, trauma-centred counselling and group activities, independence training, a regular weekly programme, case-by-case support, etc.
