Vision
To create a society where women and children in Uganda are empowered, equal, and free from violence, enabling them to realize their full potential and contribute positively to their communities.

Mission
Our mission is to empower women and children in Uganda by promoting equality and freedom from violence. We strive to create a society where every individual can realize their full potential and contribute positively to their communities. Through education, advocacy, and support, we aim to foster a safe and inclusive environment for all. Together, we will build a brighter future where empowerment and equality thrive.

Objectives
Our objectives focus on empowering women and children in Uganda through targeted, measurable actions. By December 2026, we aim to enroll 500 girls in school and provide vocational training to 300 women, with 150 accessing micro-loans. To combat gender-based violence, we will reduce incidents by 25% in three communities by July 2027 through awareness and support initiatives. Additionally, we will host 12 advocacy forums and engage at least five local officials to influence policy on women’s and children’s rights. These efforts collectively promote education, economic empowerment, safety, and policy change for a more inclusive and equitable society.

• Economic empowerment: Mushroom growing: One of the solutions to improve financial independence and food security for this group of women is to train them in Oyster Mushroom Cultivation, Processing and Spawn Production Project. This locally led initiative will help to improve food security to the community around so that they can restore their hope and dignity. By investing in mushroom growing and spawn production which will be sold locally to other farmers in-Kasese municipality and the entire district at large the project will strengthen the capacity of 1972 poor rural women farmers.
• Sustainable Agriculture: Our Sustainable Agriculture in Kasese focuses on improving food security, income, and environmental health through climate-smart and resource-efficient practices.
• Women's Rights:
Economic Empowerment & Microfinance: Expand access to microcredit, revolving loans, savings groups, and entrepreneurship training—building on AWWEU's existing microcredit services—to boost women’s financial autonomy and resilience.
Vocational Training & Education: Offer vocational skills (e.g., tailoring, ICT, agriculture techniques), literacy, and life-skills workshops, targeting young mothers and out-of-school girls to enhance agency and employability.
