About us
Mtaani Youth Sports Development-NGO (MYSD) was registered as a NGO in 2007. Mtaani Youth Sports Development-NGO (MYSD) is majoring in developing sports & decimating vital information like peace, pandemic, reproductive health education, creating awareness on HIV/AIDS scourge, sensitization on drug abuse & illicit drinks, climate change, environment, conservation, equality, gender, justice, human rights, culture, exchange program, volunteer, peace & spiritual intervention through sports platform events among the youth & communities in Kenya.
Mission
To train and create opportunities for children and youths in performing arts, sports, and leadership skills so that they become better citizens in their respective communities.
Vision
To be a reputable organisation in developing sports, assisting children in trainings, performing arts and sports so that we promote world peace and enhance improved livelihood for children and youths in Kenya.
What we do
• They provide educational programs and mentorship for the youth in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya.
• They offer hands-on training and technical workshops in performing arts (music and dance), sports, and stay-in-school programmes country-wide.
• They also run a programme in family planning, mentorship, and creating awareness on drugs and alcohol, crime, prostitution, and gangs.
• Their programmes are critical in offering a safe respite for children ages 6- 15 years and youth of ages 17 to 25 years where they can uncover their talents and realize their potential to become young leaders in their communities and beyond.
Ouma Omengo is a Secretary of Mtaani Youth Sports Development-NGO (MYSD).
For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
