About us
BOUND FOR CHANGE is a newly established NGO dedicated to improving education access for vulnerable communities. Founded in January 2025, BOUND FOR CHANGE was born out of a shared belief in the power of education to break the cycle of poverty. Our founders saw the urgent need for educational resources in Rwanda and Burundi and decided to take action. With plans to expand across East Africa, we are just getting started.
The organization gathers and donates scholastic materials and hardcover books in diverse languages, while also providing digital devices and connecting volunteer teachers from France and other part of the world with grassroots organizations.

BOUND FOR CHANGE is dedicated to transforming education in Rwanda and Burundi by distributing books, devices, and connecting volunteer teachers from around the world to underserved communities. Our work starts here, but our vision is global.

We envision a future where every child in Rwanda, Burundi, and beyond has access to the tools and teachers they need to thrive.
What we do
• Unlike other NGOs that focus solely on book donations, we take a comprehensive approach by integrating technology, mentorship, and long-term sustainability.
• Beyond Donations – We provide both physical and digital learning tools, ensuring access to modern education.

Our Actions
We collect, sort, and distribute books and devices, connect volunteer teachers, and partner with grassroots NGOs to maximize our impact. Starting in Rwanda and Burundi, we aim to expand our reach to other regions in the future.
Our program
• Books distribution: We distribute books that spark learning, imagination, and opportunity. From educational textbooks to culturally relevant stories, each book we share is a step toward
• Devices distribution: We equip schools and learning hubs with essential digital tools. By donating laptops, tablets, calculators, and e-readers, you help expand access to knowledge where it is needed most.
• Scholastic materials distribution: We collect and distribute essential learning supplies for students and educators. These tools help build strong educational foundations.
• Volunteer Teacher Program: Teachers are changing lives: In our vision of knowledge empowering every individual to reach their potential, having a strong team of skilled teachers is key. This is why one of our main development goals is connecting educators to underserved community-based schools remotely across Rwanda and Burundi. Volunteers help improve literacy, numeracy, and digital learning.
• Community partnership: Our strength lies in collaboration. We work with grassroots NGOs, schools, orphanages and libraries to co-create sustainable educational impact. Let’s build a stronger future together!
