Über uns

Rashtriya Janhit Sewa Sansthan (RJHSS), founded in 2003, is registered society under Societies Registration Act 21, 1860 from Distt Almora, Uttarakhand and involved in social development works. RJHSS works for the community and the development and expansion of rural and urban areas of Uttarakhand state

The vision is to be a catalyst for social change and development.

The mission is to empower underprivileged communities through sustainable development programs.

Our work
Through its programs and initiatives, Rashtriya Janhit Sewa Sansthan aims to improve the quality of life and create opportunities for underprivileged families and communities.
• Women’s Empowerment Programs: For numerous social development projects between the people of neighboring villages and Block Level Officers, the society collaborated with the Gram Panchayat Samiti. Pickle-making, knitting, sewing, and dairy work (producing milk) were the primary subsequent tasks in our previous experience. Currently, it has conducted awareness campaigns in schools and among the local community on occasion with success.
• Drinking Water and Sanitation Program: The society participated in the World Bank-sponsored project Swajal in the 2009 year, under the direction of the Dehradun District Project Management Unit. This was a highly successful project/experience for the society in the past with the backing and direction of state government efforts.
• Health Campaign/Programs: The Rashtriya Janhit Sewa Sansthan successfully concluded a health campaign in the 2009 year to encourage school-age children, youths, and adults (both male and female) in the surrounding villages to practice yoga on a daily basis in order to maintain their physical and mental well-being.
