Über uns

Deaf Can Foundation (DCF), founded in 2011, is a voluntary organization in the area of deaf welfare working to empower deaf people across India.
We are committed to education, awareness, skill-building, and job placement—helping deaf individuals become independent and confident.
DCF will help deaf people to become confident and independent to prepare them for the future. We focus on deaf youth to develop their skills so that they can lead independent lives and be productive members of the society.

Our work
The Deaf Can Education Centre (DECE): A centre which conduct courses such as General English, Quality Computer Education, Vocational Training and Practical Life Skills Training.
The Deaf Can Rural Development Centre (DCRDC): A centre which organizes programmes such as HIV Awareness, Leadership Training, Personality Development Programmes, Sign Lanuguage Seminars, HIV Awareness workshops in urban areas, Deaf Women Empowerment, Culrure Programmes and Matrimonial Services.
We focused on important areas where improvements can be made to ensure better access to essential services, including:
• Driving licenses for deaf individuals.
• The need for sign language interpreters in hospitals, courts, and police stations.
• Enhancing communication to ensure equal access to justice and healthcare.

Priti Soni is the Founder and General Secretary of Deaf Can Foundation (DCF).
