Über uns
Founded by Mr. Obel Donato and other community members, ARDOC Community Education Centre Project is a community-based organization committed to transforming lives through education and practical skills training.
We are a nonprofit initiative dedicated to providing community-based education, youth empowerment, and sustainable development programs in Tororo district.
We currently operate a nursery school that provides early childhood education to disadvantaged children, and a skilling school that equips rural youth with vocational and entrepreneurial skills such as tailoring, carpentry, and sustainable agriculture.
Our goal is to break the cycle of poverty by ensuring that every child regardless of background has access to quality education and the opportunity to develop their potential.
Vision
A community where young women and men are able to exploit their full potentials through the available economic opportunities and resources for sustainable development and growth.
Mission
To empower young women and men by creating a favorable atmosphere to support them socially and economically through, SME, reporting for change, agriculture and education for sustainable livelihood.
The strategic objectives of the organization are:
• To create a conducive environment for survival, growth, development and fight unemployment among the youths and other vulnerable communities through reporting as well as vocational skills training (such tailoring hair dressing catering etc.).
• To promote and support rural reporting for change especially by the young people.
• To engage in socio-economic and education growth by inviting them to participate in community building activities and projects.
• To educate and sensitize the youths to the effects of deforestation, climate change and ecosystem management.
Activities:
• Infrastructure Development: Construction or renovation of classrooms and workshops at ARDOC Community Education Centre.
• Educational Support: Provision of learning materials, school supplies, and teacher training.
• Support for Children with Disabilities: Ensuring inclusion and equal access to education.
• Sports and Recreation: Establishing sports facilities to promote physical health and social development.
Obel Donato is the Founder & Director of ARDOC Community Education Centre Project.
For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
