Call for Environmental Conservation is a non-governmental organization registered by the Tanzanian Ministry of Community Development in 2021 with registration number OO-NGO/R/2531 to operate in Tanzania Mainland.
Call For Environmental Conservation was established as a movement that aims at enhancing environment conservation in communities through awareness provision on environment conservation and performing other environmental activities such as cleanliness and tree planting."

Building a sustainable wealthy, healthy, greener and cleaner communities.

Mission
Creating a sustainable planet through environmental conservation and enhancing effective participation of community members through understanding their roles and responsibilities in environmental conservation, preservation and protection

Objectives
• Creating informed community by advancing climate and environmental conservation education.
• Integrating gender into climate action by empowering women and young girls economically through, eco entrepreneurship, promoting clean cooking and energy solutions and supporting sustainable waste management practices.
• To cooperate with the government and citizens in tackling various environmental challenges that are on stake such as climate change, plastic pollution etc.
• To provide spaces that will enhance participation of women, youth, children and marginalized groups in environment conservation, climate action and other environmental issues that requires their involvement

• Activities:
• Our organization conducts various activities such as raising awareness and building capacity within the community on environmental and climate change issues.
• We also implement programs focused on environment conservation, including cleanups and tree planting initiatives.
• Additionally, we carry out sanitation and hygiene projects, including menstrual hygiene activities. Through research, we identify existing challenges and come up with strategies to overcome them.
• Our organization also focuses on waste management programs, eco-entrepreneurship, and promoting climate action and environmental conservation through art and cafes.

What we have done:
Empowering Children:
• We have impacted on the lives of over 300,000 children through our climate education programs and initiatives, fostering a generation of environmentally conscious individuals.
• Published one magazine dedicated to climate awareness.
• Published one climate storybook for children, making climate education engaging and accessible for young readers.
Supporting Women:
• Reached and empowered over 3,000 women, equipping them with skills and opportunities to thrive in eco-friendly and sustainable ventures.
• Created 25 new green jobs specifically for women and young girls, promoting economic empowerment and sustainable livelihoods.
Engaging Youth:
• Impacted the lives of over 20,000 youth, inspiring them to take active roles in environmental conservation and climate action.
Extending Climate Education:
• Through both online and in-person climate education initiatives, we have reached over 20,000 individuals, bridged the knowledge gap and built capacity for action against climate change.
Transforming Waste Management:
• Through our waste management programs, we have positively impacted 1,500 individuals, teaching sustainable practices such as recycling, composting, and eco-entrepreneurship.
• These milestones reflect our unwavering commitment to empowering communities, promoting sustainability, and creating a lasting impact on the environment and society.
