Qui sommes-nous

Bioresource Research Centre is a non-profit, non-political and multidisciplinary base, having a blend of senior researchers, associated with a group of relatively young dedicated and honest research workers.

The workers associated with the Centre have zeal to know, catalogue and determine the status of the existing biological resources, of the hitherto unexplored and/or little explored Pakistan and its adjacent tracts.

The group believes that the unbiased research based assessment of the available bio-resources and their exploitation pattern, under the presently fast changing environment, will help in proper planning of their future management.

The group also believes that constant monitoring of the biodiversity of the area is required for natural/international management of the environment and for alleviation of poverty of the region.

The centre is still in its infancy and has till date mainly concentrated upon the human resource development to develop motivated field oriented scientists, through research based studies conducted under supervision of the senior researchers in the areas falling around its base, i.e. Rawalpindi – Islamabad.

The Center is open to all sorts of help and suggestions on possible research required in the area. It can also provide a research base and filed support for the international researchers interested in any aspect of biodiversity of the area.

For other net participants we can offer expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, deliver a lecture, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
