About us

Agrupación Folklórica Atahualpa is a non-profit Civil Organization that was born in 1997. In the year 200 we obtained Legal Status with No. 418/00 DPJ of the Province of Tucumán.
We were born as a group of folk dances and with time and because our statute allowed it, we were expanding the possibilities of support and development of socio-cultural activities. Thus, through another provincial institution "Mother Teresa of Calcutta" and the Ministry of Social Development of the Nation, we were able to develop the Banco Popular de Buena Fe of the City of Monteros and surrounding areas (Santa Lucía, Acheral, Santa Rosa and Leon Rouges). At the same time, and in accordance with the National Secretariat of Culture, we incorporated ourselves as "Points of Culture" developing joint activities in the area with that National body.
Today, we are venturing into the media area and for that reason we are carrying out what is F. M. Atahualpa - 104.7 Mhz. and our local channel Cucurina TV - Channel 12 over the air with a varied programming for all audiences.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of socio-culture.
