Our Vision
CHF exists as an advocate for children, to release them from , economic, social and physical poverty and empowering them to become responsible and fulfilled citizen

Our Mission
We improve the lives of children through education, enables them to realize their potentials and natures them into responsible citizen.

Our goal is to reduce the impact of HIV and AIDS, high illiteracy levels, unemployment and social injustice among the most at risk population. We primarily support most vulnerable children through basic education and healthcare by providing critical services like counseling, mentorship, community training´s scholastic materials (Text books, pens, exercise books, pencils, bags, uniforms, shoes, school levies, lamp to study at night etc.) We also link the needy children and caregivers with other organizations and government institutions for essential services.

What we do
• Teaching English in Schools – Serengeti: CHF invites volunteers teaching English and improve educational environments for poor Tanzanian children
• Healthcare/Medical Project: CHF is currently partnering with hospitals, clinics and nonprofit organizations in Moshi and to help improve healthcare and treatment for Tanzanians. Volunteers will work alongside local doctors and nurses and promote basic health, sanitation, disease prevention, family planning and much more throughout local community.
• Women´s Empowerment project: The programme has space for 35 women and looks after them until they graduate from the program able to support themselves. The project empowers the women by teaching them in vocational skills such as computing, sewing or making handicrafts so that they can set up their own businesses or seek employment and graduate from the project. The project organizes the women into collectives, giving them seed capital to start their own businesses but also provides financial planning and accounting support even when they have graduated from the initial project. The empowerment project operates a micro finance scheme.
• HIV/AIDS Awareness and counseling Project
• Livelihoods, Agriculture and Food Security: CHF’s economic development work engages government, market and community actors to improve families´ economic well-being so that they can spend more on healthcare, education, food, nutrition, etc. for their children. We do this, for example, by assisting entrepreneurs access new markets, helping communities form their own savings and loan groups, and preparing adolescents and youth for economic opportunities. CHF also initiates table banking Table-banking is a group funding strategy where Amani Women Group meet once every week, place their savings, loan repayments and other contributions on the table then borrow immediately either as long term or short term loans. The women use the money borrowed as capital for their livelihood projects.
• Serengeti Kindergarten School: This project is focused on guaranteeing free quality primary scholarship with the necessary infrastructure and equipment, as well as covering basic needs in school, food, health and hygiene.
