Mitaan Sewa Samiti is an empowerment–oriented NGO, registered in 2008 and based in Chhattisgarh, with main objectives of creating financial, health & education wise EMPOWERMENT And WELL-BEING into the existing living status of the people belonging to the marginalized communities, dwelling in our surrounding un-organized colonies, slum & rural areas.

Our Vision
Let there be financial, educational & health-wise EMPOWERMENT & WELL-BEING into the lives of people belonging to the economically marginalized communities.

Our Mission
• Engaging females belonging to the economically deprived families into the income-generation activities through the network of micro-enterprises, being operated by them as the SHG-members formed among themselves.
• We propose to set-up GLOBALIZED COTTAGE INDUSTRIES run by the SHG.
• Support and facilitation by our NGO, under our philanthropic–cause based social-empowerment-venture termed as the GLOBALIZED COTTAGE INDUSTRIES.
• Carrying out our charity-based initiatives to impart education and health based EMPOWERMENT & WELL-BEING.

Core activities
• Creating the SHGs [Self-Help Groups] among the female members of the economically deprived families.
• Striving to create micro units among these SHGs;
To avail these, the following activities are being undertaken by us:
• Product identification [with perspective of the global market]
• Preparation of the product feasibility reports & project reports
• Facilitating entrepreneurial & vocational trainings to the SHG members.
• Facilitating micro-finance to SHGs
• Sponsoring of required machineries & raw materials to SHGs
• Assigning job-orders to the SHGs
• Facilitating earnings shares to the SHGs
