The Al-Mu´min Organization of Afghanistan (AMMO), founded in 2012, is an independent non-governmental organization dedicated to fighting against mortality rate of the children and mothers, illiteracy, poverty, disease and injustice in society.
Our organization can follow your mission in Afghanistan. The Name of Organization is chosen because of the local risks.
Al-Mu´min Organization is a Non Profit Organization, which works for social development through the provision of sustainable quality education as the main tool for poverty alleviation.
In Afghan society, women are the most deprived members of the community with respect to job opportunities out of the house routines. The female populations specifically are deprived of proper nutrition, health access/awareness, security, education and access to and training facilities. Among them, women heads of households, especially those living in rural areas, are the segment of Afghan society that suffers most, as they are mostly uneducated and unskilled. In many parts of the country the women have traditionally worked with their male relatives in the fields, as their livelihood has depended on the production of their family farms. Hence, the large decrease in crop yields throughout the country as a result of long duration of war and more than ten years of drought has had its greatest negative impact on the on health of women and children.
• Al-Mu´min Organization distributes Ramdhan Relief Packages to the most poor families in Kabul,
