About us

Freehearts Africa Reach Out Foundation (FAROF) was founded on the 15th December 2011, and officially registered as non-profit organization in 2013 under the Part C of the Allied Matters Act (1990) Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja, Nigeria (CAC/IT/NO 61548), with a Consultative Status at the United Nations ECOSOC; certified by the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning in the FCT-Abuja, Nigeria (MBNP/NGOIC/S.1320/1), a Validated member of the Techsoup Global Network (Nigeria). FAROF Work’s in the north Western region of Nigeria and, dedicated towards the improvement of the standard living of Marginalized groups, particularly those living in rural communities. FAROF has being supporting marginalized communities with ICT training skills and Literacy since 2011 to date, while also strengthening Primary health care system towards an improved digitalized methods of data collections, record keeping, and monitoring at all health facility level, in partnership with the Medicals and Health Workers Union, the state Ministry of Health and Digital Public-private partners

FAROF mission is committed to creating a safe and healthy community for the most disadvantaged children and women through quality health care, education, protection against violence and exploitation, and community development that are sustainable, replicable and appropriate for hard-to-reach-areas.

Our Vision
Envision serving as a source to humanitarian excellence, where every child and women right's are protected with improved quality health care, literacy and better living standard.

What we do:
• Health (Digital Health, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, and HIV treatment and Prevention, Tuberculosis, hepatitis B, Nutrition, and better hygiene. through the Maternal Newborn and Child Health MNCH Programs)
• Education (trainings and Strengthening Infrastructure)
• Child Protection (Gender Base Violence & Exploitation (GBVE))
• Empowerment (Enterprise Development and Vocational Skills)
• Community Development Programs (Youth Enterprise Development and Vocational Skills and Conflict mitigation and management).
• Community ICT Development
• DX Dance Project

The Foundation was founded by Amb Eunice Adams and Michael Light who is also the Strategic Development Manager (SDM) at Freehearts Africa Reach Out Foundation (FAROF).

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
