Qui sommes-nous

Children’s Empowerment Foundation is a Youth-led non-profit organization that contributes to children's education through the empowerment of skills and knowledge. Our aim is to ensure that all educational needs of children are met.

Projects;
Empowerment:
• Mentorship Programs: This will focus on sensitizing the community and the children on drug abuse, early marriages and teenage pregnancies.
• Career Talk: e.g. Introduce children to people of different careers and highlight more on what each career involves so as to spark inspiration
• Educate: Educate the community on the importance of ensuring that every child regardless of sex (male/female) has access to education
• Empower: Empower the children with some personal skills that can help maintain a healthy body and mind, such as how to recognize, manage and cope with emotions. Introduce them to various technologies and art forms like dance, singing, music, drawing, painting and theatres etc. Empower them in games/sports and also provide various sports attires, equipment etc.
• Long Term Goals: Provide entrepreneurship skills like tailoring etc.
Back to School: Mobilizing stationary supplies, school uniforms, bags and shoes.
• Long Term Goals: Providing desks, table and chairs, chalk boards etc; Renovating dilapidated classroom blocks; Exposing the children to new technologies and equipment (Having access to them); Provide Scholarship schemes
Let’s Read to Lead: This campaign will aim at enhancing the literacy skills of children by: Mobilizing school text books, note books, and reading books; Offer remedial classes to older children that still can’t read.
• Long Term Goals: Building of school/community libraries
Go green campaign:
• Highlighting the importance of preserving the earth and its biodiversity
• Tree planting, recycling, renewing and reusing of substances will be taught
• Personal hygiene will be taught to both girls and boys
• Making reusable sanitary pads so as to help keep a girl child in school
Charity programs:
• Supporting orphanages, other groups and children in the community by donating: Assorted food stuffs, assorted toiletries, clothing and other necessities
