Qui sommes-nous

The Water Literacy Foundation (WLF) was established as a Public Charitable Trust on 5th September 2005 to improve the water situation in India.

Our vision is to transform India into a water efficient nation by 2025 in which all people are able to enjoy their basic human right to have access to clean water.

Our mission is to establish a balance between water usage and water replenishment by means of bringing basic knowledge of water conservation practices that inspire and inculcate a culture of water efficiency.

Our work
On one hand the WLF offers simple, cost effective, easily replicable and eco-friendly water conservation techniques for rural, agricultural, urban and industrial needs.
On the other hand the WLF conducts water awareness-raising campaigns, rallies, workshops and visits to demo projects, targeting rural, urban and industrial India.
