Qui sommes-nous

Tabitha Home is a formal care and transitional home for orphans and vulnerable children, located in Ibadan Oyo state, Nigeria, operated by Help Initiative, an Ibadan, Oyo state based NGO, since 15th August 2014.
The home was born out of the desire to erase the stigma attached to vulnerable children status creating equality for them among their peers irrespective of their situations and circumstances. Tabitha Home strives to provide an environment conducive to the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual health and well-being of the children.

Tabitha Home is built on the true spirit of investing in lives through the 6+ support of education, medical, rehabilitation, protection, shelter, food & nutrition and psychosocial support.

Projects:
• Kid’s club: Tabitha Home Kid’s club is a social club which encourages children to be expressive through songs, play, choreography, teachings and tales. This activity is being moderated by Help Initiative volunteers and staff. The children are given social and educative opportunities, this is done through art, entertainment, motivational talks, social interactions, debate and counseling support.
• Building Project: abitha Home commenced the development of a permanent building, Located at No 5 Shittu Street Joyce B Ring road. The goal is to secure a permanent place that can accommodate 100 Orphans and Vulnerable Children and 10 care givers at a time . It is also an avenue to create a skill acquisition environment for sustainable skills for the beneficiary children.

Febisola Okonkwo is the Director of Tabitha Home.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
