Delhi Greens is a Delhi based non-profit organisation set up in the year 2007 with the objective of protecting and preserving our common environment.
We work to generate environmental awareness among the masses, encourage and empower the youth to take green action and create the necessary platforms for the conservation of local, regional and global environment and sustainable development.

Mission Statements
• To revive the principles of spiritual ecology for generating environmental awareness among the masses.
• To empower, encourage and educate youth and citizens for achieving sustainable development at all levels.
• To mainstream environmentalism and support the global call for the transition to a green economy.
• To act as a watchdog for protecting the forests & biodiversity of India.
• To create the necessary platforms and implement projects for promoting sustainable rural and urban development.

Green+ Goals:
• 33% Green Cover: Work towards achieving 33% green cover in Delhi by planting and protecting trees, conserving biodiversity which will also help reduce air pollution.
• WASH For All: Work to ensure that all citizens of Delhi have access to WASH, the globally accepted abbreviation for Water, Sanitation & Hygiene.
• Zero Waste Lifestyles: To ensure that every citizen of Delhi adopts a zero waste lifestyle by segregating her/his waste, buying with an eco-conscious approach and by giving up Single-use Plastic.
• Carbon Neutral Economy: To ensure that India and the world make the transition to a green economy and reduce the use of fossil fuel in order to safeguard the present and future generations from global warming and anthropogenic climate change.

• Unific Publishing House is a one stop publishing house for publishing environmental protection and sustainable development related material.
• NE Greens Portal was launched in 2010 for environmental protection and sustainable development of Northeast India.

Dr. Govind Singh is a Co-Founder and Director (Hon.) of Delhi Greens.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
