Qui sommes-nous

HOPAD (Helpless, Orphan, Poor, Affected, and Dalit) Child & Women Promotion Society is a non-profit, nongovernmental organization (NGO) dedicated to the cause of aiding children and women in need. HOPAD was established in 2005 by a consortium of human rights activists, social workers, and lawyers, whose greatest passion is providing care for those who lack the resources to do so themselves. HOPAD rises to ensure that the children and women in need receive the care, opportunities, and training which they need to succeed. HOPAD is also devoted to raising awareness among governmental workers about the conditions in which the needy are living. Moreover. we are working towards the necessary change of the former.

The Vision
At HOPAD, we believe that in life, all humans have the same basic rights. Every child has the right to nutritious food, good health, a loving home, and a quality education. Likewise, every woman has the right to a quality education, valuable training in skilled labor fields, and equal opportunity in the work force.

The Mission
HOPAD plays an instrumental role as an agent of social change to empower Nepalese women and children. By providing a quality education, good health, a loving family environment, and sustainable training programs, HOPAD increases the capacity to succeed among Nepalese women and children and ensures a prosperous future.

HOPAD's objectives:
• Help women and children of Nepal who are socially, culturally, and financially unable to care for themselves or those around them.
• Make independent women and children by providing quality education, training, and engaging them with productive work by which they may generate an income.
• Enhance the capacity of marginalized women and children and provide rehabilitation opportunities to the helpless, orphaned, poor, affected, and dalit children so they may create a better future for themselves.
• Establish good co-operation and networking with the national and international NGOs/INGOs and governments for the support of women and children.
• Establish volunteer services to help marginalized women and children.
• Establish and manage children's home for the helpless, orphaned, abandoned, dalits of Nepal.
