Qui sommes-nous

Ummeed Foundation was founded by Mr Parvez M A Farid in 2011. Listed as a
a non-profit organization, for the upliftment of Differently Abled, widows & needy which for the past decade has impacted a beneficiary count of more than 13,500 in the sector of health, education & Upliftment of PWDs, since its inception in 2011.
Ummeed Foundation serves humanity irrespective of caste, creed, and community.

Organization mission: Our mission is to promote a better quality of life for communities, notably vulnerable populations, through their full participation in developing their communities.

Organization Vision: Our vision is to achieve a level of sustainable community engagement

where the majority of the population has access to basic social services.
Our work includes the following:

1. Ummeed The Hope Free Special School’ for persons with disability was established in the year 2011. Over the years, our institution has grown from strength to strength and to date, it is the only free Special School in Mumbra and the nearby vicinity in Thane District. This premise is allotted to Ummeed Foundation by the local government body, Thane MunicipalCorporation. Our School provides free Special Education to 350 PWD students enrolled to whom we provide the below-listed services:
We also provide the following:
 Speech Therapy
 Physiotherapy
 Special Computer Training Lab for PWDs
 Vocational Training
 Documentation
 I.Q Test Camp

2. “Livelihood project for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)” from the past decade, with registered beneficiaries count of 639 wherein we assist them in Health, Education, Medical Aids, Skill Development Programmes, Employable skills and making them effectively part of the mainstream society.

3. Ummeed Scholarship Programme, a Scholarship for children of Single Parents, PwDs,
Patients -where-in we provide counselling camp, interactive sessions, and knowledge sharing, of students for a better future.

4. Ummeed Food House serves a one-time meal per day to underprivileged, economically
weaker sections at just Rs. 5/-. Since the onset of the Covid-19 Pandemic from the past 3 years till now we have served 5,50,000+ Beneficiaries.

5. Tele-cardiology & Telemedicine & Critical care ambulances in border areas with the Indian Army at three locations in J&K.

6. Gauri Healthy Heart Project in J&K, Manipur, Delhi NCR, and Maharashtra, wherein we have successfully diagnosed and treated 5000+ Cardiac patients since its inception.

7. No Heart Attack Mission 2025 by Prof. (Dr.) Upendra Kaul for 10000 patients, 1000
doctors, and 1500 paramedics across 9 Districts in J&K

8. Sanitary Napkins & Personal Hygiene Management projects in 10 Districts across
Maharashtra

9. Ummeed The Hope Special School in Tandard Kashmir with The Indian Army till now
more than 2200 Children with Disability, enrolment have been processed.

10. Ummeed Skill Development programme for Person with Disability registered under Skill India in association with Anjuman I Islam, with a total enrolment count of 40+

11. Ummeed MSF Diabetes Telemedicine Project, with an object to connect diabetes patients
through the means of telemedicine.

12. Ummeed, ONGC Healthy Heart Project at Pulwama J&K. Initiated complete Heart care
centre under one Roof Under the CSR initiative of ONGC.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, procure expert information and establish new contacts in the field of our work.
