Qui sommes-nous

Association Generations for International Workcamps (AGCI), founded in 2010, is a non-profit association for Volunteering in Morocco, Voluntary work, Humanitarian projects, International workcamps, Solidarity tourism and Cultural exchange in Morocco.
Through a variety of activities, among which are those organized and carried out by the members of the association and others that are open to the participation of people from all over the world, the association will give the kids of this area opportunities to learn and to spend their free time in an interesting way; a fact which will improve their performance in school and also help build their personalities.
It will also draw their attention, as well as that of adults, to the dangers threatening our environment and therefore to the importance of working together against anything that may affect it and to contribute to the efforts furnished by the state to protect the environment.
The association is also ready to give its help to any public establishment in need of its services and to participate in or help with any activity for the benefit of the community.

Projects:
• Kitchen Garden: AGCI launches its second project of the same kind in partnership with Asma Primary school (Ouarzazate) on a area of over 600 m². These projects aim firstly to improve the green spaces in the targeted institutions, and secondly, to educate younger generations about the importance of green spaces in the life of man and the need to take care of them. They will also serve to inform children about organic farming and its benefits on individuals and on the whole ecological system.
• Activities of entertainment for deaf children: AGCI launches a number of educational and recreational activities for the benefit of the deaf children who are studying in the school Achourouk.
• Free classes: AGCI offers enormous help with the schooling of kids, especially kids of poor families. We try according our means to help these kids financially by providing them with the school stationary they need for their studies. We also organize free classes; especially in French, to help them get over the difficulties they are facing in their learnings. Through a number of educational and recreational activities, we try to make up for the deficiencies in the acquirements of these kids.
• Environment clubs: In order to promote the interest of young generations in all issues related to environment, and in order to involve them in the initiatives aiming at protecting it, the association created two environment clubs in two public schools in the city of Ouarzazate; One in Asma Bint Abi Bakr primary school and the other in El Mansour Eddahbi middle school. These clubs are a space for both sharing and action.
• Road security: We organize activities to sensitize the young generations of the necessity to take action, all of us, in this national effort because "We Are ALL Responsible". Cultural, educational, recreational activities, shows, simulations are organized, whether for the National Day for Road Security or on other periods of the year, by the association in many establishments with the participation of kids in both the planning of the carrying out of these small projects.
• Other activities: AGCI also organizes different activities in different public establishments to improve their conditions, especially the green areas within them.
• Language Camps
• Humanitarian and cultural trips
• International workcamps: Our international workcamps are opportunities for voluntary work, discovery and cultural exchange. They are organized primarily to provide assistance to a disadvantaged population, whether in the form of language courses to address the lack of access of the poor to quality education, or whether in the form of recreational and educational activities organized for children from poor families which do not have the means to take their kids elsewhere to relax after a long school year. They can also be projects of rehabilitation of public establishments frequented by the majority of the local population (schools, youth centers, hospitals).
