Mother & Child Mission Centre - Kenya (MCMCK) is a non-governmental, non-partisan, non-profit organization with a vision of promoting and supporting initiatives that safeguard the women/children's rights; ensure the well being of women and children in Kenya.
MCMCK is a NGO based in the Kenya whose main objective is to empower women and youth with the capabilities to reach their full potential so they can live productive through SME's and business skill building exploration in empowering them to be self-sustainable and reliant without depending on employment from government and other stakeholders (Being Self Entrepreneurs)

The vision
The vision of the group is to bring the women & youth of Kenya together and united so as to exert much effort in promoting development and raising their living standards. All these will culminate in eradication of poverty, unemployment eradication, democracy, prosperous society as a whole.

The mission
The mission of the group shall concentrate on pursuit of socio-economic development, promotion of cultural welfare and sensitization of the people to developmental program which will strive to empower community to take charge of their own development, improve access funds, business implementation ideas, to ensure women empowerment through entrepreneurship, engage in agricultural and other socio-economic activities and to enhance peace and reconciliation through intercultural integration.

Main objectives:
• To improve the living standards of the target population in all their aspects of life.
• To support the small scale industries initiated by women & youth.
• To provide a dignified life for women with ideas in business management and both small scale/large scale enterprises all over Kenya.

Programmes and projects:
• Food security
Increase people’s capacity for food security by increasing their ability to reducing post harvest issues while reducing environmental degradation
Educate farmers on how they can effectively manage their production during the variation in rainfall and renovate land lost to erosion, land mines
Educate farmers on new technologies to improve the productivity of the land
Better soil management
New crop varieties
Better farming practices/land husbandry
Nutritional improvement
Facilitate farmer’s access to markets
Women´s rights
Enhance the ability of women’s activities for their rights
Initiate programs to prevent & eliminate violence against women
Initiate programmes in assisting those affected by this violence to shun traditional practices e.g. FGM early marriage, child labor and soldier
• Health
HIV/AIDS anti retroviral drugs supplies to Mothers who cannot afford the dose each month
Impact of mothers and children on HIV/AIDS impact
Reproductive health
Malaria prevention mechanisms in outbreaks emergency areas
TB surveillance and Tact
• Scholarship programmes to needy OVC’s (Orphaned Vulnerable Children)
• Emergency response programme
