Qui sommes-nous

NETZ fights for human dignity and against hunger in Bangladesh.
NETZ is a development organisation working exclusively in Bangladesh. It supports the disadvantaged in their attempts to solve their own problems – by encouraging self-help towards an income and education as well as by implementing human rights in the villages. NETZ provides humanitarian aid in the case of natural catastrophe.

At the present time NETZ is helping over 17,000 starving families to make a living. In the program “Rice for Life“, people receive start-ups – cows, goats or shop fitments – and take part in a training program. Thus they can provide three meals a day for themselves long term. Over 21,000 children are learning the three Rs in primary schools built and supported by NETZ. Several thousand men and women are being trained as honorary “observers of human rights compliance“, intervening in cases of injustice in rural areas. NETZ is a recognised non profit-making organisation. The German Central Institute for Social Issues has presented it the donations award. This is given for diligent management of donations. Learn more by visiting: www.bangladesch.org.

NETZ is active in education in the area of development politics within Germany, too.

We have professional and honorary workers with experience of Bangladesh who are working towards this end. Our objective is to paint a realistic picture of the life of the poorest in Bangladesh. We want to work with others to initiate actions which support the poorest in their battle against agonising miscarriages of justice. Give us an invitation! We look forward to hearing from you!

On request, we can offer other net participants a consultation, make a presentation. We can provide up-to-date information and contacts in the field of our work
