Sunset Dream is a project, to help the poor community in Munoz, Puerto Plata. The organization aims at improving the living conditions of the very poor village Munoz, which also has a community of Haitians, who can hardly find enough food to eat. There is a Dominican but also a Haitian Batey (little different culture). Lots of illiterate people, adults and children are living here. The children need some organization. Many are in the street doing nothing. It just needs to set a schedule for them. If the parents cannot afford the uniform and books for school they are left on the street running after the tourist, who occasionally comes in the village on horse and buggy. Lots of woman are struggling alone to feed their babies, lots of men with no work, no profession, no knowledge. This situation must be changed quickly. Project's goals:

- help the people to be healthy and self sufficient and more aware of specific needs to be developed,
- giving them a new motivation and bring them goals to achieve,
- give them the desire to learn,
- bring to awareness some fundamental values,
- allow them to survive,
- save the lives of some babies and mothers who are breast-feeding under circumstances impossible.

To reach the goals it needs some dedicated people, who are willing to dedicate some time to participate in the project. The children need education, even basic education such a saying "thank you" and "please". Hygiene very basic is important, starting with washing hands. The best gift is to teach them a language. The most important is English, then French so that they can eventually work in tourism, which is the industry number one here and this village is located right across the big tourist world. Sunset Dream wants to show them how to be autonomous, teach them some professions, teach them languages since tourism is really strong right across the street from where they live.

For other net participants we can offer an expert guidance through trained staff, give an expert opinion, deliver a lecture and establish new contacts in the field of our work. Further we can arrange lodging and transportation.
