Since the mid-nineties, the Interkultureller Arbeitskreis (= intercultural working group) has been working in the multi- and intercultural line of business. This working group is specialized in information, advice, services and events and has deep knowledge about the following subjects:
Development of the world population, population of Germany, foreigners, immigration, ethnics, hostility to strangers, asylum, mobility, multi- and intercultural activities, communication, globalization, Diaspora, social security system, job market, "Hartz"-reform, Green-Card, basic cover of social protection, "Riester"-pension and integration (integration of female foreigners in Germany, in the Netherlands and in Sweden), foreigners', citizens' and immigration laws as well as application training.
Kenan Araz, born in Midyat in 1964, is married and father of one daughter. From 1984 until 1988, he has been studying at the University of Ankara and from 1993 until 1999 at the University of Göttingen. He passed his final examination with the degree Master of Arts (M.A.). At present, he is working as a consultant as well as web- & forum master in the action office for naturalization at the Parity NRW www.einbuergern.de and in the information centre "Europa Köln (IZE)": www.ize-koeln.de.
We can give advice to other net participants on the subjects migration, integration, nationality, racism, intercultural activities and application training, we can deliver an expert opinion and give a lecture or arrange for up-to-date specialist information and establish contacts. In addition to that, we can support other net participants with online collection of signatures as well as the publication and distribution of information.
