Les Thèmes

The aim of the Earth Defenders is to teach children and young people to respect and act responsibly towards animals, plants, people and the whole world they live in. This legally autonomous association, based in Stuttgart and Esselbach, was founded in 2003 on the initiative of Thomas Müller-Schöll.

Our vision is a world free of violence, where humans, animals and nature can live in harmony and mutual respect.

We have taken it upon ourselves to develop and implement an educational solution to the future threat facing our children. We seek not only to make a contribution towards the preservation of natural resources, but also to protect all forms of life.

Our work
• Summer holiday projects
• Class outings
• Children get involved in the defence of the Earth: children join in the discussion, presenting their ideas and vision of a future life worth living.
• Youth companions: Earth Defenders Youth Team – we explain and publicise within our personal circles (school, university, home town) information about how we can protect the Earth, and we take part in publicity campaigns with information booths.
• Film and media project: here, the aim is to display our creative abilities, which have increased during the course of the project, as well as revealing the opinions and insights of children and young people.
• "Play Fair" – inventing and playing a game: we have created a fun game intended to motivate children and young people to become ecological and fair consumers and have developed our design skills at the same time.
• Climate protection mobile kitchen: children and young people have fun learning the criteria of sustainable food production and can prepare tasty ecological vegetarian meals.

On request we can offer other net participants advice, give a presentation, and provide up-to-date information and contacts in the field of our work.
