AID Kenya Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to mobilize voluntary humanitarian aid and development assistance to orphaned and vulnerable children, teenage mothers and disenfranchised populations in rural-urban Kenya.

Our Vision is a society free of poverty and human suffering in all forms.
Our Mission: Changing Lives, Impacting Humanity.

Strategic Objectives:
• Advocate for and enhance implementation of UN’s Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s).
• Enhance youth empowerment through research, establishment of youth empowerment resource centers and micro finance initiatives.
• Advocate for policies that guarantee peace, security, good governance, civil liberties, patrimony and sustainable development.
• Initiate Children’s Day Care Centers and Orphanages to cater for the abandoned, orphaned, destitute and teenage single parentage children.
• Support efforts to fight drug, alcohol and related substance use and abuse among the youth.
• Mobilize humanitarian aid to the disadvantaged populations of Kenya by collaborating with grass-root groups, civil society, the private sector, the Government of Kenya, the development partners and the International community.
• Lobby for internship, attachments, scholarships and job placement for the development of the youth both at home and abroad.
• Pool resources into The AID Kenya Fund in order to drive and finance the ambitious programs and feel good projects undertaken by the Foundation together with its partners.

Our projects:
• Wanalea Children’s Home/ADDHU-CYCA Center: Established with the funding from ADDHU, a Portuguese International humanitarian organization, in partnership with CYCA, a Kenyan voluntary organization. The Center was established to cater for orphaned and vulnerable children.
• Adopt-A-Child Project: The program works with the idea that a Foster Family or Parent identifies a particular child to support, then the Foundation commits them to voluntarily support the children financially, materially and emotionally.
• Sanitary Pads for School Girls: The project seeks to provide sanitary pads to girls from marginalised locations and slums since these are the most affected.
• Teenage Mothers Support Program
• The Banana Project
• Feeding & Nutrition Program
• Water & Sanitation Projects
• Experiential Learning & Cultural Exchange: To enhance the effectiveness of Project HOPE Kenya, the Foundation hosts local and international volunteers and students under The Experiential Learning & Cultural Exchange Program, a program of posting volunteers and research students and travelers/tourists on the Foundation’s feel-good projects at the community level to enhance cultural understanding, engage in social projects, learn new experiences, tour the country, foster peace and bring HOPE to the OVC kids and teen mums.
